What happens if I find a lot of issues?
As an inspector, I am going to do my best to give an honest and thorough inspection of your property. It is likely that I might find issues with it. This is where a Move-In Certified™ inspection really pays benefits.
As a Seller, if a Buyers inspection finds issues, you are faced with a choice, accept the leverage that inspection puts you under, or lose the sale. That leverage could require extensive repairs on your part, or a big reduction in the asking price.
With a Move-In Certified™ you can be present at the inspection, I will ask you questions about items I see, and you then have advance notice of these issues.
You get to see the report in full BEFORE it is published.
You are in control of whether I publish the report as it is, or if you’d like to fix the issues, and then have the home re-inspected.
Re-inspections will cover the whole property again, but I recognised that this is a second inspection for the same client, and as with a second Buyers inspection, i offer a discount.
